THE NATURAL WAY TO MAKE FINE HAIR LOOK FULLER

THE NATURAL WAY TO MAKE FINE HAIR LOOK FULLER

If you’re fed up of fine, flat hair, don’t want to spend hours styling it, and are really no fan of extensions, the solution is just a few simple steps away.

DO

MAINTAIN YOUR ROOTS

Ever wondered why your hair not only looks brighter after your highlights or balayage appointment, but also looks fuller too? Bleach swells the hair, lending it a whole new texture, so roots look and feel fuller. Mention this to your expert colourist and they’ll explain whether balayage or highlights will work for you best.

GET A CURTAIN FRINGE

We’re firm believers in there being a fringe for everyone. If your hair is on the fine side, our signature curtain bangs are cut to blend in seamlessly with your overall cut, lending it shape, movement and volume.

RUB IN SOME LIFT

Prep for fuller hair the right way by applying volumising Zhoosh Foam from our Instant Volume Kit to mid-lengths and ends while your hair is wet, before blow drying. When your fine hair falls flat again – whether that’s on day 1, 2 or even 3 after you wash – use your hands to apply a plum-sized amount of the foam to any especially fine areas (think around the parting, hairline and crown), then rub it in in really well until it disappears. Watch Luke Hersheson walk you through it, step-by-step, right here. Brushing your hair with the Everyday Essential Brush when you’re on the go will also help enhance natural body and movement.

DONT'S

USE HEAVY STYLING PRODUCTS

These will, quite literally, weigh your fine hair down. As a rule of thumb, avoid styling products with a greasy texture (oils and serums) and instead, opt for lighter creams and sprays. We built Almost Everything Cream to be light, easy to apply and super-effective, so it banishes frizz, conditions and adds shine – without ever making your hair feel flat or lank. Which is why it keeps selling out.

ASK YOUR STYLIST FOR BLUNT TIPS

Asking your stylist to cut chunky, blunt ends will only make your hair look flat and solid. To add fullness, we need to create the illusion of flow and movement, so a few well-placed layers are always a smarter option.

GET ALL-OVER COLOR

One colour looks feel one-dimensional and will only make your fine hair appear flatter Soft highlights or balayage add depth and movement, to give the illusion of fullness.
