How To Create Easy Beach Waves Like Ashley Graham’s

When Ashley Graham attended the Jean Paul Gaultier couture show a few weeks ago, we were immediately taken by her cool girl waves. Beachy and undone, but still with a certain level of polish, the man behind the look was our CEO and founder, Luke. A chic way to style your hair in springtime and beyond, waves like these are actually super simple to achieve.
“After rough drying Ashley’s hair, I prepped it with loads of our Zhoosh dry-foam, which gave it a bit more bite, grit and hold,” Luke tells us. “Then I clipped in a few extension through the lower parts of the head and a few on the side, to make the hair a bit longer.” After that, he used the Hershesons Multi-Tasker, a 3-in-1 hair tool that comes with different attachments that you can swap depending on your desired look.
A great example of the versatile tool in action, Luke used the Mermaid Waver attachment through different sections of the hair, then swapped it for the larger Tong to add bigger waves through other sections and around the face. “I wanted to make sure it didn’t look too even,” he adds.
Finishing off with another layer of Zhoosh for a little extra texture and a matte finish, he then ran Almost Everything Cream (first warmed through his hands) through ends to encourage a piecey finish.
And voila, hair to be reckoned with – and it couldn’t be easier.
